I have not had any time to blog lately because I have been SO busy; and it's all my own fault too...but I love it! I started an online business from my hobbies of sewing, crafting and creating; started making most of my 8 month old's baby food myself, began a new approach to helping him and his physical development and have started to put together a stricter budget for my husband and I (so that we can start saving money to put down on a new home that I desperately want/need). All of these aforementioned things have brought me opportunities to write a separate blog post for each, so hopefully I will get to that soon enough.
My point is, all of these things have obviously made me super busy, but I'm finding that they have also made me super happy and satisfied. I feel accomplished every time I complete some portion of each one and I am so proud of myself too.
In the past 2 or 3 weeks for my business I have: created half a dozen projects to show as samples for my business, gotten a website up and running, come up with even more products and concepts I would like to eventually offer and created an ordering process (although somewhat crude).
In the same time frame, I have fed my baby (when we are at home) all natural homemade meats, veggies and fruits, he has begun clapping (all the time), rotating himself on his tummy and back and mastered the "pincher fingers" for picking up small foods.
Just in the past few days, I started a few simple measures to save on our utilities, created a Weekly Menu template and (with my husband's help) created an amazing grocery list spreadsheet/budget.
In the next week I am also hoping to make my own laundry and dishwasher detergent and further break down our budget. More updates on that, coming soon! (or late)
